Catalyst-Thinking was co-founded by Cindy Galvin and Marian Bourne.

We work with CEO’s and successful leaders who believe that the number one asset in their company is their staff.  We provide real-time, practical solutions that help to deal with almost any stress ‘in the moment’.

Since stress is now recognised as a major factor in chronic illness, the need to optimise health – mentally and physically – is crucial for any company that wants their employees to be resilient and co-creators of their success.  This means that it can no longer be a box-ticking exercise, presenting power-point slides about stress or teaching meditation and mindfulness.

“I worked for over 25 years in the global energy trading industry, managing large teams of people and developing sales and consulting initiatives. I have experience building successful companies in a field filled with well-entrenched competitors, motivating multi-cultural teams, integrating merged teams and creating succession plans. After leaving the corporate world, I added additional skills as a licensed trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Clinical Hypnotherapy and am certified in  Conversational Intelligence® and Lifestyle Prescriptions®.”

“For over 20 years I have run a private clinic for pain and chronic health problems combined with a stress management coaching practice.  I’ve witnessed the effects of long term stress on the body and seen how CEO’s and senior leaders are exceptionally good at taking care of their careers and their families, but less good at taking care of themselves. Over time, they pay the price with their health. Some of the skills I bring to the work we do, include stress/trauma work with EMDR, hypnotherapy,  Functional Medicine and I’m  certified in Conversational Intelligence and as a Senior Life Coach.”

“What gets measured gets managed”  Peter Drucker

  • We believe that whoever you decide to work with,  it’s crucially important you have ‘before’ and ‘after’ measurements.
  • We believe in numbers so we use analytical fitness and recovery tests so you can monitor your progress.
  • We believe that seeing is believing so laboratory stress tests give you proof of your cortisol levels.
